With over ten years experience in Telecoms innovation, Norman is recognised worldwide as an expert on future trends and user behaviour around Voice and Messaging and digital lifestyles. He has been a keynote speaker on this at O'Reilly Emerging Telephony, eComm, Telco2.0, 3G World Congress and Mobility Marketplace, the Global Billing Association and many other events. Norman is also the Chief Strategy Officer, Wireless Grids Corporation, USA. Prior to joining WGC, he was the Director of Technology Research for Orange UK, formerly the Home Division of France Telecom where he was at the forefront of developing an innovation framework for an integrated Telco approach to the emerging Web2.0 ecosphere. He is an Associate Director of STL Partners Ltd, the group behind the Telco2.0 initiative. He was also previously an Executive Board member of the MIT Communications Futures Programme and is the Chairman of the ITU TELECOM Forum Programme Committee.
Ian is founder and CEO of Inteleme Limited, a rapid prototyping, research and consultancy enterprise focusing on Web and communications technology. He has recently been appointed CTO of Ensembli LTD, a venture funded information processing start-up. Before all of this, Ian spent six years as a key member of France Telecomm’s high profile Technology Research team where he specialized in consultancy, research and prototype development of disruptive emerging technologies. Ian’s work covered many domains including Grid computing, Home networking, End User creativity, Interfacing, Social networks, Search and Information Management. Ian has had a varied carrier. He started working as an analyst/programmer developing distributed database systems and moved into Internet and multimedia production in the mid 90’s. He has built and managed multi-disciplined engineering and production teams several times over and acted as Technology Strategy Consultant to a number of start-ups. He was headhunted into the leading UK ISP Freeserve (later acquired by France Telecom) in 2000 where he ran the Technical Production team before moving into the R&D role. Ian holds a Master of Science degree with Distinction in the subject of Internet Application development.
Keith is the Director of International Operations at Truphone where he is leading the international roll-out of this Mobile Internet Network Operator (MINO). Keith has a background in business and marketing strategy. Over the past 10 years his focus has been primarily in the TMT area (Technology Media and Telecommunications) working with software development companies such as Microsoft and Telecommunications providers such as the MTN Group which owns and operates fixed and mobile telephony businesses in 21 markets in Africa and the Middle East: Here Keith drove business strategy, incubation and Research and Development. Previously Keith has consulted in the Telecommunications and Banking sectors on new technologies and their adoption in consumer markets. Keith was the Marketing Director of africam.com from 1998-2001, an internet based broadcast business specialising in live wildlife content that built significant audience support. From 1991- 1998 Keith consulted to a range of global brands assisting with media and marketing strategy.
